I'm taking an hour each day to design for each challenge. If I get feedback, I'll come back to my design and take half an hour or so to implement some changes.

Day 1 : Efficient Navigation
CHALLENGE
User research shows that when visitors come to the site, they prefer to filter by pet rather than product. How would this impact the information architecture of the site, particularly the page navigation at the top?
SOLUTION
Presenting the pet types up front eliminates the extra click the user has to go through to sort by pet. The other extra sorting and filtering options would be made specifically for each option the user clicks on.

Day 2 : Marketing Real Estate
CHALLENGE
The marketing team has three campaigns scheduled to run at the same time: Black Friday, a strategic brand partnership, and an ad to promote their new mobile app. They would like all three to launch and be promoted at the same time. How will you promote all three challenges simultaneously on the site?
SOLUTION
Providing an appropriate image along with a short headline for each event will visually stimulate the user. Solid color button links act as a call-to-action.
Day 3 : Top Products
CHALLENGE
You’re given a google sheet that includes a complete list of products and tasked with organizing the information in a way that aligns with marketing initiatives. Which products will you feature on the landing page?
SOLUTION
Showing the best seller and new items in the landing page is very important in guiding the user when we do not have their shopping trends or account informations. In these categories, highlighting some products from a brand For My Pet is partnering with, as well as some sale items, will be helpful in keeping the brand aligned with its marketing initiatives.
Day 4 : User Support
CHALLENGE
While site organization helps decrease a user’s need for help, there may be more finite questions such as “how do I find all grain free products?” What can be implemented or added to the landing page experience to help users connect with customer support?
SOLUTION
Having a Live Chat support is crucial to improving an online user experience today. The user will be able to talk to a real Customer Support Agent 24/7, about any questions on the brand, the website, or the products.
