BRANCH
This was a collaborative interactive furniture installation made for an open space lead by designer Matali Crasset. Branch was a six piece installation made by groups consisting of five students each.
Simple joinery was used for the furniture with Birch ply and Pine wood for the furniture. The front seat is more inclined than the back to promote interaction between the users.
The furniture installation was made for a public transitional space, inspired by branches of a tree. The user can interact with each individual piece in any way they choose.
