This was a caricature assignment done many years ago, but it's still one of my favorite works. We were asked to caricature ourselves into any character we want, doing something. I thought of taming wild animals and 'Beauty and the Beast'; after bringing my ideas to the tutor, he felt it wasn't good enough and suggested turning the story upside down. Why not twist the idea of Beauty and see how the Beast will react? It was fun imagining and painting this picture, and much less stressful painting an uglified face. :)
