A book/exhibit project designed to celebrate Fermignano's indipendence bicentenary.
Fermignano is a little town crossed by a river liying near the city of Urbino (IT).

The main theme of the project is water. It was in fact the Metauro River the element which enhanced the whole developement of the town during the years.
The sound of water opens and closes a piece of music created for the occasion, an anthem revisiting the lost sounds of the past, which are reintroduced by the use of onomatopeas.
Inside of the book pictures and texts about the companies stories were selected from archive sources and then photographed under water. Between the pages some free typographic interpretations of the anthem are included.
Some pages of the publication were also used in the little set-up.

The exhibition took place in Fermignano, inside the Museum of architecture which stands just
next to the River Metauro.

The little exhibition was part of a bigger celebration called:
Collezione 200, Fermignano (PU), 02.06.18 – 09.09.18
Graphic design of the whole project was curated by the students of the
MA Communication and Publishing 2018, ISIA Urbino
