DISTRESS
Interactive performance Project

Based on the effect that noise pollution has on marine life, DISTRESS is a performance that forms a soundscape reminiscent of an underwater habitat undergoing distress due to the effects of noise pollution. Noise from human activities add to the sounds in the ocean, disrupting the ability of marine life to interpret their surroundings. The overall buildup of noises throughout the performance creates a chaotic environment and aims to place audiences in the perspective of these marine animals.
