Collide - A Story of Encounters
Collide is an experimental motion piece. It was inspired by the journey we take through new and alien environments. It is created, to give the feeling of being lost, isolated and drifting through void and cold space.
The piece is drawn from personal experiences, moving to a new environment. Experiencing unknown terrain. Leaving safe spaces in order to harness craft and through the pressure, build something to be proud of.
The final frame should make us reflect on what it is to be truly in ones own space and in order to help us cherish the new and old bonds that have already been created.

Previz
Since I worked on the project for such a long time, always trying to put in some work after my actual work and sometimes on the weekends, there were multiple changes in the concept and the animatic. I put together a quick comparison of three shots from the final animation and their the rough counterparts.
