The Scaring Night
‘The Scaring Night’ is a charcoal art piece inspired from Vincent Van Gogh's famous painting ‘The Starry Night.’ The task was to make an art piece inspired from a famous work of Van Gogh’s, while making only subtle changes to the original.
The piece is my depiction of the experience of walking around in Yelahanka, alone at night, since this place is infamous for being unsafe, with innumerable reports of women being catcalled and publicly harassed by the locals.
