What if we were able to develop a transportation system that is connecting a district, is assuming logistic duties, but is only consuming a tickle of the energy a comparable tram system would do?
The design is presenting a city of the future; based on flexible, modular residence towers.
Against the habit, the construction in this concept is aligning to a transportation system. This is why the modular appartments are arranged to a innovative row system and bedded in surrounding multi storey- dwellings and city houses.
A treadmill in this size would be utopic. We had the (also utopic) idea of a circle-shaped, rotating platform as big as the hole district whose edges can transport people. If you leave open the middle of the circle until a few meters to the edge, you´ll become a ring. The only geometric figure, that is able to rotate in its own lane. We mounted the ring floating via magnets and created stations nearby every tower. The SkyCircle.
