The assignement at my university was to design a magazine. Topic and style were not specified. Designing the magazine included the name, the cover, the grid, researching articles and pictures. 

I chose to create a concept around the look of the magazine. The cover, which is 250 g paper, was laser cut and engraved. The pattern represents the white foam on a wave. The pages inside the Magazine get gradually bigger in the width and change colour from dark blue to light blue to finally brown representing the beach.

The grid consist of 6 coloumns with a gutter of 0.5cm on each side. The horinzontal lines have increments of 7pt since I have a leading of 14pt on the continuous text.
