Based on existing packaging solutions for analgesics, the focus has been on how the packaging can be reduced to only the most necessary components. The format has therefore been changed to only one blister card of tablets. This solution integrates all the elements of the product into one compiled package so that the contents are better protected and to prevent the user from losing the information for the product.

The information is attached to the inside of the front part so that it does not obstruct the blister card, but remains naturally visible when one opens the package. That the blister card is attached to the main packaging means that one will always be able to see or feel what the contents are.

With regards to legibility and the perception of the product, we have performed analysises of color, contracts, typography, and font size through contact with a test user. The solution has a hierarchy where the most important information is largest and most visible to clarify information. Today's analgesics packaging includes Braille, but because very few vision-impaired or blind people are able to read Braille, this is not satisfactory. This makes understanding the contents of the package without risk or the mixing of different medicines even more important. 

Multiple elements in this solution provide benefits for users who are vision-impaired or blind. Through more compact packaging and a reduced amount of loose components, this product will be easier to use for many people. The opening/closing mechanism, where the blister card is automatically flipped forward, will simplify the entire sequence of removing a tablet for use. One avoids removing one or two cards from the packaging, just to insert them again, as the card will always be accessible when the package is opened. Small writing on today's blister cards and information booklets can also be especially difficult to read for many. Users groups such as the elderly and dyslexics can benefit fromt his solution.
