Name: Rey Park

In 2015 a war broke out in South Korea, leaving small towns and villages wrecked. Children were orphaned, women widowed and men lost their lovers. What for, you ask? A small blue flower, the delphinium flower was the entire cause.

The delphinium flower grew everywhere around South Korea and was a seemingly innocent flower. But it had a dark secret that put the whole country at risk. The flowers had energy, powerful energy. Enough energy to power guns, save lives and take them, sadly enough the government found out.

It started small, going only into villages where Delphinium farmers had the biggest crop. It also started as a small occupation, only that quickly faded. Soldiers became more and more violent and farmers became more and more resilient.

Rey’s father was a farmer, having one of the biggest crops in all of the village, all of the province even. She watched them come, she watched them stay. For months and months on end, there they sat and kept an eye on things. Maybe they didn’t want the energy of the flowers to be used by mere civilians.

But one day, a switch flipped. The soldiers got violent and the crop was destroyed, along with almost everything else in the village. Along with Rey’s life, her father was gone, their farm was gone and she was left alone in the world.

After the attack, the government placed anyone under twenty years of age in the care of a family that was still intact, which was mandatory. Rey was placed under the care of the Chae family, but they didn’t want her nor the other little girl placed in their care, Mila

You see, the Chae’s were a prestigious family in the community. Husband was a doctor and the wife came from a wealthy family and their son was following his father’s footsteps.

They left the remnants of their village, with a full car. Three people in the backseat, two dirty with ash, dust and scratches while the other was incredibly clean and neat. Quite the awkward situation for everyone involved.

The second the Chae’s reached the nearest city, they dumped the two girls. Knowing there was a refugee center for them to go too, so it wasn’t totally a bad thing. But still, cruel and heartless for the two orphans.

Mila was considerably younger, not even in her teens yet and needing someone to cling onto. So she chose Rey, someone she could look up to, someone who could protect her. So together they made way to the refugee camp.

Rey Park is girl who is strong of character. She isn’t afraid of hard work, considering her life working on a farm prior to the attacks. She won’t complain no matter how tired or in pain she is and will always put a smile on her face to keep Mila calm. She protects her family, even if her family isn’t related to her and she will never ever allow someone to get hurt for her.

Rey is a 19 year old, female of half Korean, half Caucasian decent. Considering her mix of nationalities, she is fair skinned and dark haired, She has a full head of long dark brown curly locks that go down to her chest. She is short, standing at 5 ft 2 (157 cm) and slender of frame, weighing at only 110 pounds. (49,8 kg) Her eyes are light brown and a bit golden when the sunlight hits them, making that one of her most attractive physical traits.
