Musical Notation Poster– From Sound to Sight, then Sight to Sound
This is visual re-interpretation of Chopin Nocturne Op. 37's musical notation. A musical notation is a visual language that musicians can read and play. The process was done by scanning and distorting while I was listening to the music. The sound is a response to this Musical Notation performed by NYU Double Reed Studies Department
in the collaborative show, "Type as Notation" and "Listening to Print".
Enjoy the music!
