Freelance Designer / KMS Team, Munich
Pitch for the identity of a new museum in Munich designed by the architects Sauerbruch Hutton. The concept included logo, launch campaign, posters, catalogues, ticketing, packaging, advertising and signage. The answer to the brief became obvious early in the project: the building itself. The distinctive outer skin of the building is brought to life by 36,000 ceramic batons in multiple colours. The grid made by the batons creates the template for all design elements including the logo and applications. The three colour themes from the façade are represented in the colour palette.
