Poplar Petfood & Produce
Poplar are a pet supply store operating in a semi rural, regional environment as a result they cater for small pets right up to large farm animals. Over all there are 7 animals depicted in the logo, a hen, cat, dog, horse, a bird which forms one of the horse’s ears, the pattern on the horses face depicts a lizard and the fur pattern of the cat is in the shape of a fish. All of the animals come together as one they develop their shape from the contours of the adjacent animal. The branding utilises a number of bold colours, these colours have a very practical use, firstly the colours help denote the different animals in the logo and secondly the shop is build into an old stables – in a poorly lit environment the colours bring vibrancy into shop space.
