This was my final year project where we were tasked with researching and discovering a new niche in a market and develop a product to fulfill that niche. A focus on environment and sustainability was put on the project and the resulting conclusion was that a new convergence in the evolution of the personal computer was possible simply put we were asking could the computing power of one device be sufficient to run the two dominate form factors, phone and laptop.
From the previous research phase of this project a business report was written and major insights were captured on this board to guide the design phase.
Crude rapid prototypes were given to users to see how they interacted with different devices at the same time. This was then documented and used to influence the ideate phase of the design.
During the ideate phase multiple sketches and concepts were generated then three were chosen to be further analysised and refined into the final STAND concept
