Inspired by eighteenth-century French fashion, this doll dress, different from human dress which has to be practical or comfortable, expands imagination without limits. Though used traditional elements such as corset, petticoat, lace, panels, and ladder of bows, this costume does not completely follow the historical patterns and become a miniature replica. With the idea of exploring what summer Rococo dress would be like, the frontal part of the underskirt and the sleeves are removed, exposing the legs and arms. The gown is, indeed, with a touch of Rococo style which would not only bring up a flavour of that magnificent era but also would take the viewers to some imaginary fantasy world of France.
