Future Futures
Thinking about how far our relationship to technology can go, how humans have embraced technology in the past, we have come up with a scenario where we entrusted our independence, self governing and comfort to one universal system called MOTHER.
MOTHER collects data on its citizens to decide what is best for us individually and collectively. By taking human feelings and errors out of the equation this system seems like practical and efficient way of governing. This universal system has become our identity, our legal system and our faith system because data does not lie.
I designed a simple booklet conveying one of many possible futures based on an assignment that pushed us to reflecting on how 2048 might look like. There are four different layers held together by two brass paper fasteners. More information and pictures coming soon...
