Mowhak loop is an environmental line created from sustainable means, so I wanted to create a promotion that would be able to be reused and not tossed into the trash after viewing. Thus was born, a gridded notebook.

My concept was to utilize the golden mean, which is the harmonious mathematical pattern found throughout nature even at a cellular level showing how we are all connected. This also goes well with the grid paper that I designed as the notebook paper. The grid is meant to inspire us that we are all connected to divine principles and nature isn't just nature, it is who we are and it matters. Each photograph I took follows the pattern of the golden mean which leads up to the title “The Living Grid”.

 

There are three different divisions in the book that demonstrate the types of paper from the line. Reason being, the book will be more dynamic and show off the paper at the same time. All of the photography was original as was the design and printing of the grid paper.
