For this project, I was tasked with creating several packaging concepts for a potential collaboration between Disney and Halos. The objective was to showcase Disney characters on the packaging, in a design that would translate across different brands and appeal to both the parent making a healthy purchase at the supermarket and their kids who get to see their favorite character on the package. To make the designs modern yet approachable, I leaned on inspiration of painted produce, retro lettering and a soft yet poppy color scheme.
After pulling together a mood board of art, color and type reference, and enlisting the help of an internal character artist to brainstorm some potential customized poses for the packaging, I ultimately presented four completed concepts to both internal Disney leadership as well as the Halos team.
