People pass by them without noticing the true beauty they hold, the history, the tales, and the potential.

are the places where past, present and future collide, mix, and co-exist.
And thus I found Karantina, I adopted Karantina, a none-place, and placed it under the spotlight. A place that marks the entrance of a city and the facade of the waterfront, but that has been neglected exiled, And Misunderstood.
My main goal was to reveal the mirror of a city that reflects the image of the human in it, and to expose the true POTENTIAL behind what was once known as the dumpster of the city. To create phase 0.

The aim of this project is for it to be a separate state of mind, an experience that faces reality and pauses it.
We celebrate the abandonment a none-place, but we embrace its identity as the new lighthouse of the city.
We celebrate the human experiencing a lost space and making it a place of identity of belonging of expressing and creating, of mirroring his mind.
