Developed by the Commonwealth Bank, Start Smart is a program that changes the way young people learn about money through a series of workshops and online resources. The program equips students with the confidence and competence to make smart decisions about money.

Re came on board to develop a visual world to engage students and teachers in Start Smart. Collaborating with paper artist Benja Harney (aka Paperform) we created a series of school bag scenes that integrated items and ideas relevant to each audience’s financial needs. Crafty enough to engage students, yet slick enough to speak to adults too, these curated scenes were used across print, digital and interactive tools.
