Art 235 Project #2 Noun-Service Symbol.

This was a very hard one for me as I tried using the diamond shape rather than the jewel.  But it didn't come together for me until I used the Jewel.  This is Diamond Cafe.

I had this one all set in my mind right away on how to do it, but I kept using a scene of a laundry mat rather than something simple that would get you to think laundry mat, the I began to use just a washing machine but it was mistaken for too many other things so I had to figure that out.  Well I finally realized that I needed clothes in the machine and the slots on the side for the money and put the star over it and I believe it works well.  This is Star Laundry Mat.

This was really difficult because I could get people to realize it was tennis as the service but it wasn't very simply done.  I was offered a suggestion to make the ball the sun and that is what I did.  This is Sun Tennis.

These are what my digital sketches looked like before I was able to implement them into a mock up.  I think I like the mock ups better because they are more realistic but this is the symbols that got me to that point.
