Agana/Krivapeta illustrated book

The book focuses on a character featured in a variety of tales told in the area on the border between Slovenia and Italy (Friuli region). Here cultural aspects of both cultures often merge and in the end it is difficult to understand what belongs to one culture and what to the other one.

Agana is the friulian name of a fairy/witch who is said to live near rivers. Krivapeta is the name of a fairy/witch belonging to the slovenian tale heritage who has twisted legs and lives in the woods. In the tales those two characters and their features often overlap, sometimes completely. The books is designed to communicate this complex relationship between characters and cultures.
