DIA D (D DAY)
CONCEPT
✊Dia D (D Day, in English) is a conference and project showroom in Barcelos promoted by IPCA’s School of Design and Barcelos City Hall directed to the Portuguese design community and design students.
My concept was based on the idea of revolution since this was a new, low-budget project hosted in a rural aging city.
OLD vs NEW
This was a new hope and a breath of fresh air for the young students that tried to fit in the city and break through the traditional side of it.
To transmit that idea I used a closed fist pointing at the sky and the famous English "V" finger sign used by the English archers and later by Churchill and strong diagonal lines "cutting" with the norm.
D DAY HAS COME TO STAY
As of today, this project has grown and the city grew younger with it. ✌️
