Royal State's Gulabi Nagar - Jaipur!
Hey there! hope you are doing good. Presenting few pictures with small description, which I captured in the month of March'18, while I was on a short trip to the pink city of India.
Starting with the journey, here we go...
Arrived at the Jaipur Junction Railway Station during the sunny hour of the day
"Padharo mhare Desh" (means Welcome to my land)
From Jaipur Railway Station, I headed towards the city...
And the first picture which I captured is of this unique open spaced three wheeler
Way to Vidhani from Jaipur Railway Station
The next morning, I travelled back to Jaipur city, for exploring the city in a day...
After travelling for hours I spotted a Sugarcane juice stall, under the hot sun! (which was not leaving me at all that day)
The peaceful road of Vidhani with the bright Sun above the head, coating the road with the intense rays glittering all the way! You can imagine it, right?
Aha! Finally the Saviour is here, fresh Sugarcane juice.
While drinking and looking around, sharing that moment with a family, I caught this sweet little Natkhat (Naughty) boy in my camera who was busy enjoying sugarcane juice.
The locals are cultured and decent.
After getting refresh, took a bus from Vidhani to the main city(Jaipur), then a cab and reached to the Amazing City Palace.
The city is made up of the ancient architecture with a modern execution.
Only word I would have said a lot of times was "Beautiful!!". Yes each and every thing is amazingly carved and maintained. I am Amazed!
Can I click a picture of you both? "Yes sure! but wait, let us take a pose."
Such an impressive architecture! I attempted to click more pictures and capture every detail of it. While clicking, I got a chance to work on and improve my Mobile Photography skill
The red sandstone color on the wall is so mesmerizing and the designs on it are so beautifully done that you will cherish it
"Khamma Ghani" (greetings)
Explored every possible corner of the sumptuous Palace
And yeah! I think this picture is something that I achieved (Claps) Since there were tourists around, clicking pictures, adoring each and every minute details of the Palace, I got stuck for a few minutes just to capture this shot from a proper angle.
I must say, moving forward, going to every part of the Palace amazed me each time!
The designs, color, chandelier, doors, the walls inside, the weapons in the museum, huge paintings every thing is so perfectly maintained that one can't take their eye off. Such a ambiance will make you walk to the magnificent history of India.
Okay! one stop done get ready for the next, which is literally the brilliant one I have ever seen!
After City Palace next was the "Jantar Mantar", built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II of Jaipur.
The words "Jantar Mantar" means instruments for measuring the harmony of the heavens.
The world's biggest stone sundial "Smarat Yantra"
I tried to click a few pictures of the scale on it, which are flawless. Some of the numbers on the scale are almost faded, as it was built in the 18th century (Whoa!)
This globe structure stole my heart :)
The Brilliant work I have ever seen. I still couldn't express that how much I am amazed after visiting Jantar Mantar and going through every architecture here!
The Hawa Mahal!
The Jaipuri Jutti
After admiring the beauty around the city, purchasing some hand-made articles and many more from the market, I headed to the famous Amer Fort (Amber Palace), which is a few kilometers away from Jaipur city. It is one of the kingly magnificent fort I have ever seen.
Scenic Beauty!
The Royal Amber Palace made me feel royal too!! walking through the corridors of the palace, the design, walls, patterns, color, each and every thing from tiny peace of mirror to the huge interior, chandeliers and what not!? It all really felt connected and alluring!
I love this picture as you can see the wall is so exquisite! Also, it seems to be one of the perfect click of mine.
Can't take my eyes off! The shade of the sky, making a spectacular scenery.
Capturing such little lively moments, makes me feel satisfied and alive whenever I go through my photo album...
The Door!
You must be tired while going through the Gulabi Nagar?? So take a moment, have a seat :)
And finally while returning back to Jaipur City, I had a glimpse of the Jal Mahal (The Water Palace) floating on the Man Sagar Lake, which is astonishing!
And finally came back to the hotel by evening. The next day I took a train to Mumbai and returned back to home packing up great experience and good amount of pictures with me. Some of them I shared with you.
So this was my "one" day tour of Jaipur city, mostly known as Pink city of India (Gulabi Nagar).
A day was enough to make me fall in love with the atmosphere here, the folks, the culture, the food, the music & art and almost everything!
Thank you :)
