GEOCHANG YUGI
<거창유기>는 고유한 기술을 바탕으로 100여 년 동안 유기를 제작해 온 역사 깊은 브랜드입니다. 뛰어난 기술력을 바탕으로 명맥을 이어온 브랜드임에도 불구하고, 유기 시장에 대한 젊은 소비자층의 인식 부족, 브랜드 이미지의 노후화, 타 브랜드와의 차별성 부족 등의 문제가 있었습니다. 비스포커 스튜디오에서는 고루화된 이미지에서 벗어난 <거창유기>만의 현대적이고 독자적인 이미지를 알리는 데에 중점을 두고 리뉴얼 작업을 진행했습니다.
상징적인 역할을 하는 <거창유기> 심벌은 그대로 유지하되, 이에 어울리는 타입을 새롭게 개발했으며 용도에 따라 다양하게 활용할 수 있도록 <거창유기>만의 BI 시스템을 구축했습니다. 구리와 주석을 조합해 정확한 비율로 유기를 만드는 방식을 고수하는 <거창유기>를 '동양의 연금술사(Oriental Alchemist)'에 빗대어 디자인 스토리를 만들고, 오랜 건축 양식이나 미술 화법에서 마주할 수 있는 '황금비율'과 '수를 놓는다'는 표현을 재해석하여 디자인 모티프를 개발, <거창유기>의 독자적인 기술력과 헤리티지를 강조했습니다.
패키지 디자인에서는 외부 디자인과 함께 지기구조를 재정비하는 작업을 통해 기존 패키지가 갖고 있던 안정성에 대한 문제점을 보완하고 보자기, 더스트 백 등 <거창유기>의 아이덴티티를 나타낼 수 있는 부수기재를 다채롭게 제안했습니다. 웹 디자인은 기존의 웹에서는 기본에 충실한 생활식기(클래식) 라인과 전시 출품작 및 혼례, 제례에 관련된 제품(프레스티지) 라인을 구분하여 소비자들이 편리하게 구매할 수 있는 새로운 카테고리를 제안했습니다.

There were problems such as lack of differentiation from other brand. The Bspokr_Studio has been tasked with renewing its brand image.
The symbolic 'Geochang Yugi' symbol logo is kept intact. We've developed a new type to match this. Geochang Yugi's BI system has been established so that it can be used for various purposes. 'Geochang Yugi' makes a product by mixing copper and tin at the correct rate. So, We compared 'Geochang Yugi' to an Asian alchemist and created an interesting design storytelling. Logo, package, web page design etc. that match them. We have developed a visual identity system to be applied. Design motifs can be found in old architectural styles or art painting styles by reinterpreting the expressions "golden ratio" and "craftmanship" We emphasized the unique technology and Heritage of 'Geochang Yugi'.
