BAI!: A Baybayin Card Game was a project I made for my Art Direction class. We were tasked to create a dream project of any sorts that would solve a visual communication problem, and I decided to make a baybayin card game!
The baybayin has always been so interesting to me and I believe that we should give more attention to this treasure of ours.
I decided to create this game to promote the ancient Filipino script called baybayin, in admiration to this beautiful way of writing that Filipinos have neglected due to the modern and foreign influences.
The game makes learning about the baybayin in a more engaging and fun way as it encourages us to write, speak, play and most especially learn the basics and appreciate baybayin through this interactive game that’s fun for everyone!
