What started as a wishful idea by a group of eight BFA Graphic Design students at the University of West Florida has come to fruition in the form of ripe, the graduation exhibition of the first graduating class of BFA Graphic Design students. After four years of growth from a rich foundation, we declare ourselves ripe for the picking in the job market. Ripe is all about showing the world what we’ve got in a classy, quirky way. It’s about exploring our creativity and letting it overflow into the exhibition space that we have proudly designed from the ground up.
To draw attention on campus, we employed a marketing campaign to create curiosity as to why there were brightly painted fruit posters appearing on the walls. We let the posters with just the exhibition title and the fruit display for two weeks and then we replaced the original posters with the set below that had additional information about the exhibition.
