Designed and published in the capital of Germany, Craftrad is a printed and digital magazine, for readers who value authentic high-quality products. For those who are fascinated by motorcycle, craftsmanship, lifestyle, and travel. With no ending adventures and passion, the main goal in the design of this magazine was to keep a formal simplicity without losing its rebellion soul.

In this academic project, it was asked to create one possible first edition of this magazine, hence having no preoccupations about keeping its identity, in fact, it was necessary to create an identity that could last in the next editions.

To create an impactful identity that could speak the values of the magazine, the use of the 90º rotation has a strong presence in the brand identity in order to use as much space as possible, and as a factor of differentiation. The colours are also very important, as they are one of the factors of greater contrast between the formality and the adventurous rebellion. Each story has its main colour, having this colour a direct relationship with the photographies or with the writing tone. This way, not only the magazine edition itself becomes unique, but every single story within keeps its unique tone.
