Problem & Research

The pain caused by second-hand smoking is a problem that both smokers and non-smokers are experiencing.

As these problems grow, the number of non-smoking areas is increasing every year.

So, Smoking booth appeared. However, the installation site is very limited, and there are many problems

간접흡연으로 인한 괴로움은 흡연자, 비흡연자 모두 겪고 있는 문제입니다.

이러한 목소리가 커지면서, 금연구역은 매해 증가하고 있습니다.

흡연부스라는 아이템이 등장하였지만, 설치 장소는 매우 한정적입니다.

As the number of smoking booths is insufficient, a small number of smoking booths are crowded with people.
As a result, ventilation and hygiene are not good.
And they smoke on the roads around and the streets are polluted.
This is why NIMBY phenomena occur. The problem is not resolved and the cycle is repeated.

흡연부스의 개수가 부족하다 보니 소수의 흡연부스에 인원이 몰리며,

그로인해 환기, 위생상태가 좋지 못합니다.

그 결과, 주변에서 노상흡연을 하며 거리가 꽁초로 인해 더럽혀집니다.

이러한 이유로 NIMBY현상이 발생하고, 문제는 해결되지 못한채 악순환 됍니다.

Strategy

The single smoking booth 'Nerue', which is smaller than 2 meters, is installed in alleys,

restaurants and entertainment areas where damage to real-life street second-hand smoking occurs,

and can protect the rights of minority smokers.

Those who want to smoke alone, those who use electronic cigarettes need different smoking areas.
We wanted to give these minorities a private smoking space.

1인용 흡연부스 '느루' 는 2m미만의 작은 크기로,

실제 노상흡연에 대한 피해가 발생하는 골목사이나 식당가,

유흥가에 설치가 되어 흡연부스이용자들을 분산시킴과 동시에,

특정타겟들의 권리를 보호할 수 있습니다.

흡연자들도 간접흡연에 괴로워하는 경우가 많습니다.

혼자서 담배를 피우고 싶어하는 사람들, 연초담배를 피지 않는 찐담배,

전자담배의 이용자의 경우 다른 흡연 공간을 필요로 합니다.

우리는 이런 흡연 소수자들에게 개인적인 흡연 공간을 제공하고 싶었습니다.
