I was tasked with designing a cover and illustrations for a short story in public domain. Then I used html to code the illustrations and text into an e-book. I chose the story The Mirror by Catuelle Mendes because it is fairly unknown and therefore I could create illustrations in whatever style I wanted. On the cover, I used the hair but no facial features to emphasize that the characters do not know what they look like so nether do we. I chose three events throughout the story and then picked crucial objects from those to illustrate. Behind each object, I decided to include a piece of broken mirror so to still represent the overarching theme of the title.
