Solid Smoke Sculptures

The solid smoke sculptures were made using Houdini 17 by first making a smoke simulation, then taking that smoke and turning it into a meshed object. That meshed object was then given rigid body dynamics to interact with the pedestal as it grew over time. The final object was then exported from Houdini into Cinema 4D where the scene was lit, textured, and rendered with Octane.
