Little Sprouts Branding

Our clients purchased an established daycare in Piedmont, South Carolina. In addition to remodeling, hiring new staff, and restructuring their education model, they wanted to change the image. They wanted to put their best foot forward and show the community that they were going to be different than the daycare they were replacing.

Working closely with Chimera and other trusted parties, they decided on a new name: Little Sprouts Learning Center. They crafted a mission statement and nailed down their values. They believed that children learn best when they feel valued and are allowed to explore through play. They also believed that exposing children to God at a young age roots them into a sense of who they are in the big picture. Ultimately, they wanted to plant their children in good soil and watch them grow up to be well-rounded young people.
The logo evolved into a hand-lettered logo that resembled a potted plant. Developing a custom font to mirror their logo was also on the task list - I thought it would be a fun and personal touch to their brand. Additionally, I created four characters to represent each age group at Little Sprouts Learning Center.

"It’s amazing to me that all we gave you was a name and a mission statement and you understood our vision, our audience and our needs and created a whole branding package (including creating a unique font!) that has received a lot of positive response. Everything you’ve done has been high quality and something we are proud to consider ours."  - Little Sprouts Learning Center Owner
