Lavender essential oil soaps - these were then wrapped in wax paper and fastened with a Kareco logo sticker.
Sublimation printing is done by placing objects on fabric, and pressing ink paper onto them with a hot press - this creates a negative image on the fabric. This process works best with synthetic fabric, but we opted for using organic cotton dead stock, keeping sustainability as a centre focus of this project.
My primary role was pattern-maker for the sublimation print. I found a new way of using the technology to create precise lines and patterns, which the machine is not traditionally used for. I also researched and made toothpaste recipes, and aided in object design (laser engraving) and branding.
