Berlin, Pergamon Museum. - Nov. 2018 / You probably know that feeling: You've taken a photograph which is in part screaming „use me“. Here it was the architecture and the perspective however didn't let me go.
However most of it is something you'd throw into the trash can right away. In my case it was the low quality of a pretty dated iPhone 5s as well as the sky and ambient light.
As I love thrillers, I made a quick apprentice piece: I took the photo and tried to turn it into, well, something that looked a bit like a cover scene for a thriller (and yes, the „drawing“-like effect is -of course- intended).
Let's have a look at the result first:
And now for the original photo. It was taken mid afternoon in November and the sky was downright meh - and with it the ambient light:
