David Davilla Scholarship Tshirt

Winner of the David Davilla Scholarship T-Shirt Contest
Product:  T-Shirt Design Contest
Problem Statement: Create an original design to be featured on Mission College’s Fundraiser t-shirt for the David Davilla Scholarship which seeks to support undocumented students at Mission College. Designs are judged by a panel of Undocually task force members based on originality, striking and memorable design, visibility, completeness of design, and the ability to easily reproduce.
Concept: The T-shirt design will represent Mission College and undocumented students through the colors, illustrations, and text. The text is comprised of inspiring words describing undocumented students at Mission College and their passion for learning.
Target Audience: The demographic for this t-shirt is very board because more consumers result in more money raised for the David Davila Scholarship. It will be focused on Mission College students, professors, and employees, as the campus is where the T-shirt will be sold, so the age group will range from 18 years old and older.
Motivation for Purchase: The philanthropic consumers want to donate to a worthy cause, help students get a high-level education, and represent Mission College and the Undocually Task Force.

Refine Again.
The different size, orientation, and weights of the inspiring text was too distracting and took away from the overall message, instead it was simplified into a block of text masked into the shape of a butterfly.
