As Typography was the only medium allowed in the designing of these food recipe postcards, to make it interesting just with type, i played with how the way Singaporeans order food. Using how we normally address the vendors with a twist of singlish also with the colour scheme used on the different food stall signboards at the hawker centres. Even before you flipped the postcard to see what food was it, you would have already guessed it.

I packaged this set of 4 postcards into the traditional brown paper wrap takeaway from hawkers, and named it “Flavours of Singapore”.
