Scotland: The North Coast

Slightly in land from the coast on the first day however we were still able to see an incredible sunset over some northern Munros.
The sky began to turn a beautiful purple and these two boats sat in the still water of Loch Assynt.
The first day of hiking took us up into the clouds above Inchnadamph.  Despite not being able to see much at the peak, the walk was still interesting enough and under the cloud line you could still see all the way to the west coast.
The trip was full of sunsets, white sand and crystal clear water.  On our second night we stayed in Durness at the very top of the country.  Here, there is a magical viewpoint which sits out almost in the water.
On the 6 hour drive back to Glasgow we came across some strange country and the most unlikely of cafes in the most remote parts of Scotland.
