My stationery company, Maple and Belmont is going to be in an upcoming issue of UPPERCASE as part of a feature on independent stationery companies! WOOT! Obviously I’m beyond excited. To top off the awesomeness, I sent them a bunch of samples to include in the issues that ship to subscribers. Up till now all of our cards have been inspired by the holidays, so I decided to print a new card. As a way to introduce Maple and Belmont to the readers of UPPERCASE, I thought illustrating the phrase “Hello Darling” on a postcard would make a great first impression. I couldn’t be happier with how this project turned out, simply sweet with a Southern touch. Below are some of the process photos from this project that includes everything from sketching to screen printing the cards ourselves.

 

Along with this run I decided to print up a few more postcards to sell in the shop in sets of 6. But this is a limited print. Once the post cards sell out, I’m turning this design into a card in a different color. Get them while you can!
