Taking Over the Streets with “CHOPPAGANG”

After debuting their first collection in the summer of 2017, it is very likely that this is not the first time you are seeing this name. With the genius marketing tactic of tagging their name all throughout different communities of South Florida, CHOPPAGANG is a brand that is hard to go unnoticed.

Whether it was a quick glance at a name tag painted on the side of a local dumpster or bus stop, passing over the wheels of a group of skateboarders or the numerous stickers handed out to supporters, their name is on a mission to be seen everywhere.

With an obvious love for the rebellious lifestyle, CHOPPGANG creator, Morph, has combined street wear and skateboarder aesthetics to produce a unique urban line of clothing. One of my favorite aspects of CHOPPAGANG is the recent modification made to their logo. Originally designed in gang style font and then transformed to a tri-logo affect, this will be the third change made to the name.
Boldly printed across the front of all of their apparel, CHOPPA is printed in all capitalized letters, with GANG finely placed between each letter in a symmetrical background and outlined in the drawing of a barbwire.

CHOPPAGANG has also altered the designs of their stickers and tags around the city, which all include the new look of barbwire around the logo, giving a slight preview of the upcoming release of their fall collection.

So far CHOPPAGANG has released a wide variety of clothing for anyone to wear – beanies, long and short-sleeved shirts and shorts. The brand also recently announced the first item of their “barb” collection, a long-sleeved orange tee shirt with the new logo by itself in the middle. You can see it on their social media being rocked by skateboarders, motorcyclists or maybe for a night out with some friends.

Keep your eye out for updates to their social media outlets and website, for the brand already has new designs posted as “coming soon.”
