The CBBC Buzz app is the BBC’s first social mobile app for children. I pitched the idea to create a series of speed draw content bespoke for the vertical dimensions of the app whilst giving the user a more interactive experience that online content cannot.
I then began on designing the visuals for the actual generator, with the random nature of the selection process I believed a slot machine would perfectly capture the element of random choices:
