Hand drawn Cel Animation.

I wanted to do a cel animation that loops on itself. I chose a child sledding because it was very appropriate for the weather in December. I started with a very simple three hill scene. I needed to make it more complex, so I added trees that would move as the child sledded past them. After a review with my professor, I added a penguin to add another layer of depth. It still looked a little plain, so I added animals coming out of the trees as the penguin or child went by and gave the hills and sky more dimension.
