Online Training and Online Quizzes
This website provides procedural demonstrations for training on various OSOM Rapid Tests, follow-up quiz, and a printable certificate of training.
Some of a Web Developer’s tasks are to also support legacy sites with no support or direction on how it was originally built. I was also asked how can we update content, update flash videos and update online quizzes.
Flash Video Collaboration
Worked closely with a flash animator and dissected the existing website in order to provide specs on how the animation was created and what file types, player components, and tools needed in order to have the movies work correctly with the existing site.
Online Quiz Creation
I gladly provided some research and detective work to figure out that the previous developer used Wondershare QuizCreator software. Managed to find licensing and user information saving the stakeholder money by not having to purchase a new QuizCreator license.
I was able to find some of the original QuizCreator configuration files and templates from a pile of CD-ROM backups and quickly learned how to use the software. Now I can update existing quizzes, create new quizzes and even provide quizzes in other languages. I even took it a step further by providing enhanced scoring, results tracking for the stake holder and user certification.
