We were tasked with creating sustainable modular housing for those who are homeless, but also for those who have lost their homes and need temporary housing due to natural disasters.
We were introduced to the York based company Portakabin which specialises in factory made buildings that can be erected on the build site quickly and efficiently. My design follows their technique.
These next four display boards were shown to Portakabin, and are visual explanations of our brief and design proposal. They follow the four double diamond design stages, Discover, Define, Develop and Deliver.
