VR Experience
For my school assignment, we had to create an experience for an assigned persona (mine was a ballroom dancer) using emerging technologies. I decided that my project was considering how future technologies can change or even improve the experience of ballroom dancing. Because ballroom dancing is, among other things, a social practice, I thought it would be interesting to create a “world” for it, A virtual place where people could meet and share the same passion, but also be able to practice, learn and evolve together.
For the posters, I tried to create a feeling of movement by using different angles and shapes. I used pictures of people dancing and drew over them to convey the idea that in the virtual world, one could become whoever he or she wanted.
