Choice Art Project
Analysis: Principles of design that influenced this piece were movement, unity, and emphasis. The brush strokes create movement in the wave. By making the wave larger than the background, it creates emphasis. Also by using different shades of blue brings the whole project together and shows unity. The reference I used was kind of a rough sketch of a person surfing a wave. Instead of sketching I decided to use watercolors. I thought it would make the piece more pleasing to the viewers eyes.
