Jazz on Bones
2 × 7" Vinyl Compilation
2018

Inspired by concrete, pollution, Ruslan Bogoslowski and “Dope-Guns-’N-Fucking in the Streets”, Fuzz Ink· Records and R.O.U.F.A. Records present an extraordinary amalgam of spit, dissidence and mental disease: “JAZZ ON BONES”. Draining its sonic resonance from the depths of the greek underground scene, this mayhem of a compilation smuggles in 4 very different sounding bands to create the soundtrack for a city that has taken a severe social/ economical/ political beating in the past 10 years… Last Rizla, Friend Of Gods, Rita Mosss and Sadhus (The Smoking Community) have a message for the world. A message split in four equal but diverse parts. Sludge, punk, noise, metal, frantic, fast, slow, soft and heavy are all put into play and if you close your eyes and listen carefully, you can almost smell the gas emissions that fill the air of Athens on a usual day. The artwork stands as a cheap cocktail of absurdness, really bad humor and diet coke. All three of which, played an important role for the artists while recording these tracks. Released as a limited edition double 7” of 150 black vinyl and 150 blue/orange vinyl copies, JAZZ ON BONES, is thoughtfully unthought, compulsively impulsive and destined to failure. Fuzz Ink· Records and R.O.U.F.A. Records are two of the finest independent DIY labels of the emerging greek underground scene.
