This was my first time creating a product mockup in photoshop. I took pictures of a woven event wristband which I dyed black. Thus saving the unique texture and shape of these wristbands. There is an extra shadow layer painted on which gives a unique feel of depth and gives the wristband a presence in space. You can place your own design on the smart layer and have it displayed in a realistic manner. This showcases your design in a professional way and gives you an idea on how the design wil look in real life.

Every file has a size of 6016 by 4000 pixels as it is the biggest picture the used camera could make.

When further refining the mockup I added the possibility to add a different background. This was done by using multiple techniques to preserve the original shadow whilst adding transparency to the image.
