About me:

I really like the texture of watercolour. I paint all of my work in watercolour. I also have interested in handcraft and 3D model. I always want to try 3D printing but I always don’t have a chance to do it. I am going to study fashion design in his future. I’m really be attracted by all kind of fabric and fashion trends. But in this project, it can be the last time for me to draw those thing that I’m interested in which is not about fashion. It doesn’t mean I don’t love fashion, I just want to draw things that I like and mix them up.

Idea generation:

I always have a dream about illstrastration but I’m not very good at drawing and just like to draw it for fun. In the first phase of this project, I took too much time at idea generation. I was going to make a story book that the reader can kind play with it which about a girls and her brother. And I took time in design it but I can’t thinks of any innovative storyline so I kind of hit a bump. That’s when this currents idea pop up. I always want to do a harry potter related project since long time ago. I’m so obsessed with harry potter no matter books or movies. The movies keep company with me for really long time. I can’t even keep track of how many time I help me went through of the tough time in my life. All characters in the books taught me many things that I can’t learn in my life. A whole other world which I could escape when the real world became suffocating. And now as a grown adult, harry potter is one of the biggest source of happiness in my life. That’s the time when I decided I’m gonna draw the world I have been wonder for thousand of times.

Initial brainstorming:

The first ideal is that I want to draw that everything important in harry potter. But I give a few trying and it didn’t went well. Turns out when it all got together it looks chaos. I want to did a pop out book at first then I try a little about how to make things pop out but it’s kind of complicated. I want to make a hogwarts castle and mix stories that happened in harry potter in it. But it doesn’t went well. I’m that kind of  person who would've did anything immediately when I got a ideal. My mom always said that I’m too impulsion, but I can’t control it, for most of time my ideas just pop up in anytime even when , some of them are good in my mind. I watched all harry potter movie again and that’s when I generate the final idea. All story happened after Harry Potter got his offer from Hogwarts. So i decided to make a huge packages and pack all the amazing things that happen in the book in it.

Reflections on project 1:

In project 1 I draw about generation gap. I think in this magical world there are no generation gap. All of us has a dream about magic world. I believe everyone has dream about magic. We all have a dream wonder what we can do if we have magic. I think magic world is a place we can escape from harsh reality. Magical world is a place that has no generation gap. All ages of people can make their dream come true in this world. We all have our trouble in real life in that time everyone one imagine what can we do if we have magic. Magical world is the best place to escape from reality. That’s where I link the generation gap with it.
