The main theme of the bench design project which you are seeing now is adaptation of old traditional way of living with today’s technology.
According to “Imperfection” theme of the Istanbul Design Biennal,this bench design has been made of three kind of materials.There are two materials used on the seat part of the bench. This materials are “straw” and “polyester plastic” which has been combined to make an composite material.
On the other hand,the leg part of the bench has been made of an uncommon profile form than the other usual leg profiles of the benches.
With Combining this extraordinary material usage and profile form it has been thought to give attiributes like opposition and chaos to the this bench design by the designer.
